Sleeping has taken a whole new definition since Ceci was born. We have tried A LOT of things and I say “we” because we are both trying these new things (as well as motherhood) for the first time. I spent way too much money on stuff that she didn’t even end up liking so I’m going to round up what did work for us so you don’t have to spend on things that are just not worth it. Your wallet and sleep will thank us 🙂
Sleep Sacks
After trying numerous sleep sacks and swaddles, I stumbled across this one and it changed my life! Seriously. She started sleeping better and I wasn’t scared the loose material on the swaddle would cover her face (happened a couple times). I loved this thing so much I bought the bigger size and the one that helps transition to arms out.

Sound Machines
I opted for the hatch because I just wanted one item on my night stand. This has the night light, sound machine and a clock so I thought it was perfect. I also lets you customize with colors and different sounds and set up a schedule which is an added bonus. I got this basic one but they have other options as well. I used the sound and light feature A LOT during the newborn phase and now I use it as a clock and night light mainly. Looks sleek and clean on my nightstand.

Pacifiers
Ok so I tried a million pacifiers and these are the clear winners. I have a bunch of them in different colors. At first Ceci did not want to take one but now that she is teething this has been my saving grace, especially at night time. When buying them, make sure they are the silicone ones. For some reason these help her drool less? The other material made her drool everywhere. These are currently my saving grace.

Blankets
Ceci is obsessed with these. I got her 3 of them because this is her blankey. She sleeps with one every night and holds it to fall asleep. It comforts her. I love the stretchy breathable material and the personalization. The price is amazing too and shipping was super fast! I tried giving her a lovey instead but she just loves these so I might just order in more colors.
Diapers
A good friend of mine recommended the huggies overnight diapers once she got a bit older and they are amazing. Keeps her dry for 10-12 hours. I don’t feed or change her overnight anymore so these have definitely come in handy. I believe they start at size 3.
